Chae Sengkwong: Starting from 2018, a series of researches have been carried out around the flat surface with integration of pigments and other various materials. I gradually develop interest in the new visual approach of Chinese silk paintings to extend new Chinese concepts. Along with my own understanding of constructional features of expression emphasized among western academy, I try to integrate such “Bipolar College” to a state of a harmonious context.

By using coffee beans extraction (Espresso), color pencils, chalk sticks, graphite, acrylic and oil paint on certain sustainable papers, I have come to a certain understanding of finding alternative and potential realm of “Drawing of Design” with own preference of using light materials for the purpose of displaying a glaze of certain palette of illumination.
