Meng Hao: The creation of Fission began in January 2018. At that time, I was calm and determined. However, in the middle of April 2020, when the works were mostly completed，a plague of Covid-19 swept the world. The completion of my last few works was also stained with my complex emotions. I feel that the world is also going through a profound and complex fission, even though it once had cells with the same DNA, due to the influence of the external environment, these cells are transforming into different forms. This series can not be more appropriate as the footnote of my life in this period.
