Shi Ziyuan: In my works, I always like to observe daily things from another perspective. By creating “similar” things, I explore the sensory experience of visual, auditory, and somatosensory sense, and thus break people’s subjective impression of things. From my perspective, it is not necessary to limit the work in a specific material or form. Being experimental and observing things from various angles is crucial. In the creation process, I am also looking for a methodology that I can perceive things around me or express my views better. I may apply this method of grasping perception to other more diverse forms of works in the future.
