DAI Shengjie is a visual artist based in New York and Shanghai. She studied studio art, theatre, and economics at Smith College (Massachusetts) and Columbia University (New York). She received her master degree at New York University. Her works have been exhibited in New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Shanghai, and Hangzhou. DAI’s artistic practice revolves around the two worlds of "self" and "nature", proactively exploring the relationship between identity recognition and the external environment through female perspective.
