Wuchao Feng (b.1998 Zhejiang) in the context of globalization, she advocates a new definition of identity as a fluid idea through natural metaphors. Her works including photography, performance and installation propose an oceanic perspective on self-recognition by dispossessing the ego from the physical body and therefore decentering the human position in the external world. She’s seeking for tranquility and unity in the body of water through the derealization and interconnection with nature.
