The subjects in the series of Encounters come from the author's childhood sweaters, dolls, scarves and a piece of wool that has been displayed at home for a long time. These daily objects are combined with Xiao, oxidized copper wire and white copper wire, aiming to create a kind of accidental encounter between objects and different media. All kinds of normal life objects accidentally collide and entangle, and naturally generate a new schema and metaphor, representing all kinds of hazy and complex emotions that grow wantonly under " encounter".

"Encounter" is not only the seemingly random fusion and juxtaposition between objects, but also the encounter between emotions. Copper wire, soft fabric material, plastic paste and silk (a kind of raw silk fabric) are fused into dense dot pattern. They are combined with each other to express the collision of different emotions in my heart, as well as a sense of pulling and involvement caused by "encounter" found in the old things in the past. I also look forward to connecting my personal memory and self to the larger world in this way.

The series of Self-carved images originated from a woodcut self-portrait. In countless times of replication and deconstruction, the self gradually emerged.
