Artist Statement

Yue Yue was born in rural Hunan in 1972. After dropping out of junior high school, he wandered from Hunan to Sichuan. In 1988, he joined the holism poetry group. In 1989, the holism poetry group was dissolved, and Yue Yue's poetry creation went underground. He worked and lived in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Changsha and other places. He could not swim, but he was a seaman. Now living in Changde, he is the owner of a hardware store., In 2020, he began to try to create installation sculpture.
