Feng Yan works through the combination of painting, printmaking, image, video and other media, and "traces" are emphasized in her works, so as to touch the fluid, fragile, but imprinted temporality of the symbiosis between individuals and landscapes. The weather serves as an internal rope to connect her overlapping and hybridised multiple perceptions at the intersection of the natural and artificial worlds, and uses elements of geography, semiotics and literature to poetically translate her observations and reflections in the context of human collective civilization. The work presents a vast emotional space and a sense of movement flowing in parallel. Her perception of humanity and astronomy is irrational and based on the spiritual thinking of human beings as subjects.
