I create a series of works to explore the individual’s spirituality and the relationship between the people and the objective enviroment people experiences through the fragmentation and the reconstruction of concrete existence of realistic beings. They are refered as reconstructed workings being built by abstract, random pieces of glass. Each individual piece of broken glass has a different looking. The characteristics of their appearance are changed after I carve them into butterflies -- they turn from the small to the great, from the ordinariness to the delicacy, and from the sharpness to the softness; this change points to the mutual transformation from one kind to another, and it may conform the underlying law of the development of realistic beings. The fragments are reorganised and being turned to a mask. The mask represents an engergy which originates from another dimension and constantly grow. I senecerly hope that people could feel that power from my work.
