Since 2020, facing complex predicaments, I ventured into virtual travels via Google Maps, creating an internet sketch series centered around Mount Everest as the primary geographic coordinate. The works depict unconventional perspectives, showcasing visuals dominated by white and light gray shadows, marking the beginning of my "Hermitage" series. Upon completing my PhD in 2022, my creations evolved into an exploration of spatial complexity, particularly in "How Do We View Hermitage Now?", drawing from the Tang Dynasty's "Ten Records of a Thatched Cottage" text, reimagining traditional hermit scenes with techniques akin to 3D modeling.
