Lingering warmth of memory,Bird Exhibition, Shanghai

The creation of this series of wooden-framed paintings originated from a contemplation of fragmented childhood memories.  

One day, while sorting through old belongings, I stumbled upon a dusty box of glass marbles. Those multicolored spheres, refracting prismatic light under the sun, instantly transported me back to afternoons spent crouching on stone slabs in alleyways, flicking marbles as a child. The cacophony of bumper cars, the rhythmic squeak of rocking horses, coins clutched in sweaty palms… These scattered memory fragments, like jigsaw puzzle pieces left in the folds of time, demanded to be gathered and reassembled.
