My creative practice explores the possibilities of form and texture, seeking to establish a kind of austere humor within the language of painting. Through distorted shapes, conflicting textures, and deliberately unbalanced compositions, the work presents a quiet absurdity—not outright mockery, but a subtle dislocation that reveals itself upon the viewer’s contemplation.

My current work follows multiple threads: geometric distortions, roughly handcrafted brushstrokes, and playful subversions of classical pictorial schemes. Though varied in expression, the core remains consistent—a gentle provocation against the logic of reality. Here, painting is not merely visual but conceptual, using rational methods to produce the most irrational effects.

Moving forward, I aim to further refine this language, allowing the absurdity to emerge not through external explanation, but through the precision of form itself. When the distortion of shapes and the tension of textures reach a certain threshold, the image spontaneously generates irony and humor. This demands restraint—and a more decisive visual resolve.
