In 2023, the eighth Contemporary Oil Painting Exhibition of Guangdong won the Li Tiefu Creation Award

In this work, I use the cold urban architecture and its surrounding vibrant environment to showcase the subtle relationship between the two. In the picture, the clear lines symbolize the detachment and rigidity of modern cities, representing the cold order brought by industrialization and urbanization. However, by interspersing some lively elements, with dynamic colors and soft forms, I highlight the vigorous vitality. Their combination reflects the collision and integration of artificial environments and natural ecology in cities. I aim to prompt viewers to think about how to preserve natural vitality in the midst of the accelerating urbanization process, balance the cold material development with the continuation of life's vitality, and prevent cities from becoming lifeless "concrete deserts".
