I embarked on an art project, : U R Taking the Risk., to explore the invisible risks associated with confinement while legally residing in Europe. Despite the restrictions imposed by my residence permit, I was required not to leave the country where I am currently applying. Fortunately, I secured funding from the Dutch Cultural Institution and utilized it to travel along the entire length of the Netherlands mainland national border. This border journey, spanning approximately half a year and 5000 km, involved diverse modes of transportation, including car, ferry, bike, and foot. Documented online, it served as a dynamic archive while waiting for new permissions.

This project supported by Mondriaan Fond (2019-2022).
