The starry sky has always woven a dual narrative in classical Chinese aesthetics: it is both a symbol of the suspended sky, filled with romantic imagination and verses about the cosmic starry sky, and a spiritual root that is grounded in the human world, reflecting concern for human life. The 'starry sky' as a medium of self-expression actually symbolizes the ideal life system that people aspire to, or in other words, the starry sky represents the universal ideal life vision that people pursue, which is both a transcendent ideal blueprint and a concrete mirror of existence.
