Li Zhi: Li Zhi brings our vision to focus on interior spaces. The pictures are like sinuous pieces of circling mazes. A Peking opera puppet acts as a chess piece appearing time and time again, standing in a gray background constructed by geometric gures. This is an intellectual puzzle for children, who observe the layout and try to find a way out. There is amusement found not only in the virtual spaces, but in the conflict and confusion of looking for the exits.
