Passionate about socially engaged art practices, their work primarily involves video, installation, and photography. Recently, they have been exploring the connection between individual emotional memories and collective memory.This work is based on Foucault’s Madness and Civilization, and unfolds from the perspective of an uncle suffering from mental illness. It reconstructs fragmented memories of his youth and reimagines his dreams. Through his delirious murmurs, the piece reflects the connection between public space and marginalized, alienated individuals. In addition to the protagonist’s dreams and memories, the imagery also incorporates real medical footage and symbols such as the Ship of Fools, using a chaotic, irrational first-person perspective to critique “rationality” and the grand narratives shaped by it.
