China Academy of Art Intermedia Art Festival -Near Future: Possible Lives, Ningbo,  China 

"History," "memory," and "fantasy"—these concepts, or rather these imageries, have always been the central themes of my artistic practice. The visual materials I use to weave my works are often fragments of reality encountered during travels. I decode realityand then recode it through montage relationships, revealing hidden histories or collective amnesia. All these internal fractures of the psyche are manifested in the form of fantasy. During the creation of The Island, I was preoccupied with the loss of a sense of "place."Recently, my work has shifted toward dissecting power structures within mental health treatment systems.
