Distance in All Dimensions employs the circular tutu skirt of a ballet dancer as an emotional vessel, transforming this iconic ballet symbol into a psychological measurement scale with profound metaphorical significance. Through spatial and temporal variations, the work explores abstract expressions of human relationships. The physical expansion and contraction of the skirt (whiteboard) serve as metaphors for emotional distance, constructing dual dimensions that intertwine rational calibration with emotional warmth. By contrasting the precision of measurement scales against the ambiguity of human interaction, the piece captures the ever-shifting flow of emotions. Within the context of contemporary societal alienation, it attempts to reconstruct possibilities for human connection through artistic spatial dialogues, seeking a spiritual anchor for interpersonal relationships in the digital age.
