I am a "detail monster," navigating between precision and chaos, in pursuit of an absurd dullness that is both refined and strange. I enjoy painting figures; the complexity of humanity provides me with endless inspiration. However, I do not like to paint specific individuals; they may be a thick double chin, a blurred face, a solitary figure, or a shiny bald head resembling a Mediterranean.

Starting in 2024, I will condense my work into three series: "Pearls, Rain, Shadows," exploring the contradictions in growth, emotional support, and ultimately, separation and release. It depicts an artistic narrative about vulnerability, safety, and eternal farewells. Using pearls as a thread, it weaves together my memories of childhood and reflections on growth, probing into the core question of human development: does true beauty often arise from pain, is that a truth? And when the pain of reality is too sharp, we instinctively seek a kind of "soft focus" to protect ourselves. If "pearls" represent the pains of growth, and "rain" is the emotional buffer, then "shadows" confront the deepest question of life—loss. Memories fade over time, and shadows gradually become blurry, yet their presence precisely proves the reality of what once was. Here, art becomes a means of self-healing; I attempt to complete a ritual of mourning for "loss" through my creations, thus achieving a form of "pessimistic optimism" and self-reconciliation.
