Wang Xuehan: Mountains bear textures, rhythmic breath and pulse — they are waves in the slow flux of geological epochs. Though silent, their latent power resonates deeply. To me, these ranges are not mere components of nature; they are almost living entities, steadfastly chronicling the passage of time through their languid yet resolute existence. In this work, varied triangular forms symbolize mountain ranges. Controlled by mechanical systems, they undulate rhythmically in wave-like motions, mimicking the gradual shifts of tectonic plates and the perpetual interplay of mountain growth and erosion. Here, the vicissitudes of crustal movements become the mountain's breath. Their motions mirror the relentless march of urbanization and nature's adaptive counterpoint.

Liu Mingze: The imagery of this work originates from the kite of my childhood memories — its transparent form retains only silhouettes, while the absence of color reflects an introspective dialogue between self-awareness and the innocence of that bygone era, merging purity with inner contemplation.
