Liu Bin: The journey from warm tones to the dark blue of the universe appeared unconsciously and the preference for these tones also changed accidentally. Recently, I painted some images of houses, such as an extraterrestrial home, an elephant's house, an old tree-house, the Pegasus' stable … I am fond of painting houses, maybe because I've had to move so much. I say goodbye to the places that I used to live, the familiar corners that can no longer be touched. Then there's the strangeness of a new environment and the sense of not knowing where I am when I wake up in the middle of the night.
