Liu Xia: I hope to make these works narrative and create an atmosphere which blurs the line between dreams and reality. Seemingly ordinary scenes can express great anxiety. If a story cannot be fully told within a picture, then I use a series of scenes to assemble a screenshot movie. The logic of narration is destroyed and reorganized to form an unpredictable allegorical ending, avoiding only one depiction of a decisive scene.
