Wang Hao: "What can reflect the present social situation and demonstrate life in modern China?" I am always thinking about this. The swiftly expanding city and increasing materialism pulls us like a blood vessel about to burst. City people seem to be on a rapid engine unable to stop. I believe that living in peace, tasting the original beauty of things from ordinary life, is worthwhile. My recent works have originated from the cement of urban building materials, with its thick, earthy texture. In my creations, I explore new functions and bring about new experiences, showing my concerns about the rapid pace of development and also comment on the simple life.
