Yang Guang: The phoenix is dead, the cocoon reveals a butterfly. Things completely change in metamorphosis. It is the rebirth and continuation of life. By making use of a material's unique characteristics, collecting the texture of nature and the human body, producing human skin, the process of recording the transformation of things is accomplished. These works come from the self, yet do not belong to the self. It also does not belong to any substance in nature. This special identity explains the embarrassment and singularity of existence.
