Lee Gahyung: Why people buy imitation? The imitation market is very developed in China, even becomes travel course. There is few people buy luxury with payment of high price merely for good quality. People buy the social
value of luxury. People give luxury more significance than material value, and this may have religious meaning to someone. This is one kind of power. This power moves people similar to the power presented in various social phenomena. Luxury is not simple goods, but symbolizes wealth, power and level. Buying imitation, the meanings of imitation and luxury are not important. I think this is to satisfy the demand of owning such power and taking the benefit of level.
