Chen Lu：I can feel the presence of life all around me. Every day, I find in the world new subjects and themes for my painting. I am concerned especially about the passage of time and the creation of memory. Should art be felt in the moment or in our memories? We hear in it the whispers of life, see in it the geometric shapes of our world, and find in it a secluded place from the bustle of the city. I am concerned with genuine emotions, the childhood memories and fairy-tale narratives that we return to throughout our lives.
