Chen Yuwen: Everyone has two opposite selves. Our external and internal world overlap with each other, and sometimes we are confounded with their primary and secondary relations. In fact, we have many dual personality and multiple personalities, which is fundamental to real reflection of our consciousness. It might be true that what we see is not always real and what we hear is not always false. I am seeking for another me and my emotion guided by my consciousness and potential feelings. Maybe another reality is concealed under our outward presentations of politeness. Perhaps, our internal entanglements are in fact a search for balance. In my work, I see a means to balance my wild heart with my rational consciousness.
