Li Guanguan: During the few years since I graduated from art school, I have discovered innumerable hidden emotions. These emotions are revealed in my works, which record a kind of daydream state, simple, honest, fragile, and often haphazard. I have a willingness to present my mood and emotions, for only by looking at them and examining them can I hope to transform them.I have learned that I prefer humility to complacency, stillness to movement, and passivity to initiative. I am grateful to artists for concealing worldly politics and giving me another world that I can become lost in. I prefer this space of emotion and reflection to the real world.
