Li Na: Life is colorful, and nature is wonderful. All things in this world are forever changing. The diversity of nature makes me so emotional and continually changes my understanding of life like ripples in the water. Its rhythm and shimmer give wings to my artistic creations. Clothes, furniture, and animals are familiar subjects for my paintings. They are like the fragments of our lives but also constitute a splendid and beautiful subject for painting, which is the emotional monologue of an artist's life. After I refine the language, materials and techniques of a painting, I can see in it a sense of contemporary life and new possibilities for my own expression.
