Li Xubin: My concept of the creative process is simple: memory adds depth to people and guides them in their growth. The past, present and future all weave their web through our lives. Our "false" world, however, deprives life of nature: blue skies and white clouds disappear, replaced by tale pipe smog. So too have the grasslands and forests vanished, replaced by growing deserts. Villages and farming are being replaced by huge cities. Genetic engineering is changing our very biology.technology, biological transgenic technology. People are constantly "conquering" nature, trying to replace our creator.However, all this may be in vain for perhaps nature will enjoy the final victory. My work shows that a simpler, purer world maybe the better path.
