Luo Meng: While working from visual symbols, most of my works purposefully break with set symbol patterns so as to fracture our recognition of universal meanings. When viewers have to give up their precious symbol - reading experience of the world, they form new cognitive patterns. Feelings and sensesbreak with their set paths and standards are challenged. To quote Zhuangzi's on the Equality of Things ," Everything is indistinct. There are noconfirmed criteria to judge right or wrong, when people learn new things."
