Zhu Rixin: Examining the world through the frame of history gives us a strange sense of space and time. We see ancient capitals, the rise and fall of cities, the erosion of nature, disappearing mountains... This is my approach to understanding the arc of China's story leading to our contemporary landscape enmeshed in its heavy sense of time.
