Gao Xiang: This group of works focuses on the "in - between". At the beginning, I was quite clear on the meaning of "inbetween".but by now I can hardly comprehend the term. Every day, hour, and minute, I see and hear a multitude of phenomena,experiencing the ongoing information exchange between people about routine, events, what has happened, and what is happening. I walk past others, sometimes pausing to stare for a moment. When some impulse or passion slowly accumulates inside me, I realize that I shoul d draw it out, in the process consuming my enthusiasm and time. Space is limited, but time is infinite. In the time it takes to snap one's fingers, will you find yourself changed or unchanged? Maybe I have just gone far away;

maybe I have come closer.
