Li Huan: For me, memory is a kind of feeling for life and the past. Childhood experience and consciousness is presented thro ugh images in a nostalgic style, with the hopes of conveying a mysterious individual mood. I want to create a kind of contradiction based on our resistance to forced grow th, in which the dazed and depressed emotion with which we face it is made apparent.This work adopts a child's perspective to peep in at the "privacy" of adults. The external connection between subject and object reflects a kind of dark consciousnes s in human nature, one concerning the relations between other people and oneself,between human and objects, and between people at large.
