Shi Ruifeng: My works on the theme of "Making a Fool of Oneself" express the relationship between life and lust. Almost any kind of life in the world has lust in it. In this era of rapid human progress, there is an unprecedented lust in the air, dominating people's thinking and consciousness. Lust for power, wealth, and sex is expanding limitlessly, distorting some people's outlook on life and morality. This form of desire is, of course, half angel and half demon. And so, as a sor t of cautionary tale, the works inthis series presents images from a fairy tale world, ridiculing the lust of human beings and animals.
