Wang Yi: I like to draw common natural scenes that focus o n social phenomena interrelated with my life. In my work, figures and scenes are portrayed in a simple way, with extra details deleted to convey messages in a clear and direct way. Seemingly discordant elements are also combined in a way that dramatizes life, taking it to a point of overall absurdity.
