Zhang Lu: Based on organic and artificial materials, my works attempt to delineate the borderline and disjunction between natural-born and man - made things, utilizing techniques such as juxtaposition, conversion, and transplantation. When constructing or imitating a certain scene with predesigned relations, I think of the most essential meaning of the natural state and the possibility of human intervention, creating a sense of duality and paradox
