Zhang Wenfeng: This was a once opulent forest park, but it was abandoned for nearly 20 years. An accidental fire in February 2012 turned it into even more dilapidated ruins. They now stand sentinel in the fog of silence. When I stood within the rema ins and took pictures, I seemed to hear some strange noises out of the past. The site was once a direc t embodiment of human desire, but when ever ything has ended, all that remains is the absurd debris of modern entertainment. We sometimes believe that silence is what is golden, but a fire can bring renascence.
