Wei Zihan: Communication lies at the heart of my work, simulation is the form that expression takes in it, realized through machinery. In this way, a "life" is birthed that can slowly come to communicate with the viewers instead of me. I try to endow icy cold machinery with a soft, beautiful and dynamic outward appearance, and through simulation find resonance between myself, the works and the viewers.
