Bai Lei: I used to search for the human nature and tendency, purpose and the hidden reason in my works. But I tried to avoid express a specific face or an individual, in my works, the characters are vague, incomplete. I prefer the parts or a figure viewed from behind, even the figure of dolls to refer to people. The intention to avoid specific image which concealed typicality and the clear refers to the individual tries to discuss the People in common including the hidden attribute difficult to detect.
