Li Ming: For me, art creation is similar to the process of pouring water of different kinds into numerous empty cups. The emptier the cups are, the larger space there will be for creative thoughts. It is just the “emptiness” that decides the depth of water. The high-low of the water level - the expression content will form a kind of rhythm - like relations, which is the strength that I have been pursuing all the time. The rhythm - like relations is where my interests lie, and the “emptiness” is the supporting point……
