I’m infatuated with technique and obsessed with the skills of classical artists that no contemporary artists can replicate, as well as the future techniques that are currently being developed. Knowledge of the past keeps me alert as I reflect on today’s issues, and look to the future to open many new and unpredictable paths of development. This unpredictable nature of issues makes the process of discovery all the richer. I concentrate on “relationships” and “regular patterns”, yet often find that the exploration of technique itself yields the riches discoveries regarding the “relationships” and “regular patterns” between objects. In abnormally wrong experiments, what can be revealed is not only the relationship between objects, but also the relationship between man and matter itself, while also expanding the dimensions of time and space. Put simply, their internalized relationship is a mirror in which we can see our life choices reflected.
