Qiu Dandan: I’m a person who always has concerns, though I have a peaceful life, my brain always bubbles, my emotion evaporates, lots of thoughts linger on my mind. I used to feel anxious, lost and nervous about life in cities, I like to build scenarios which are absurd, even with end of world panic. Some people say that my works shows all our desires, some say these paintings match their dreams. Someone finds them ridicules or blue. Actually the real world is far more absurd and nonsense than my paintings, our life is a farce, but we still need to be serious and try our best to play our roles.
