Shi Qun: First I try to record the unconscious thoughts formed in my mind. I attempt to illustrate with the greatest freedom and lively practical means, the scene of objects and hearts being abandoned orforgotten in life.In some of my recent works, I try to omit space and actual scenes.By using pure unblended color lines to repeatedly cover up my previous works, to smear on useless details and to keep thosecoincidental, uncertain parts. I feel relaxed and liberated with this unprescribed way of creation.It also makes merealize that every piece of work has its own life.My role is to help them find their most suitable position and state.
