Song Hongnan：I believe there is a visible form in art that has the power to transcendent itself, reach the God, mediate things, cross civilizations, represent the sublime, combine the soul, which is other-worldly, harmonious, sacred and silent. It implies the existence of an ideal order and tells the connection from man’s world to the eternal world——So I keep digging and gathering such energy, to construct the contemporary spiritual totem in our mind……the title “Messenger” stands for the media between the sublime of God and the silence of the world. It is an expression of the co-existence of abstract spiritual virtuality and representational material substance.
