2005 Graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor´s degree

2010 Graduated from the Fine Art Department of National School of Arts of Bourges in France with a master´s degree

Currently works and lives in Beijing and Jinan

Wang Ge: My work started from the level of image, through disassembling and restructuring space elements of building or home furnishing images published and circulated on the network and magazines, to discuss how the images, which are symbolized “good life”, imperceptibly influence our life-style and values by using collage technique. Then, it is reflected the fact that the social structure of capitalism has been solidified bymodernism architecture and home space during the further development of globalization. To some extent, natural has been materialized as worshipful goods, which shows upinfinite possibility of value reserve as money, has become a symbol of some hidden social relationships due to its scarcity.
