Chen Peihua: “Floating Dusty” series and “Where Do I Come From” series reveal my thinking of the change of identity due to the change of the time and space. I hope to study art in CAFA, I go to Beijing from a fishing village in the South of China, and I settle in the North because I marry a guy from the North of China. Along with the change of the time and space, my identity has also changed, and when I understand the implied meaning, a burst of cold current coerced witha strong strangeness heavily hits my body. So I created the work of “Where Do I Come From” series; The “floating Dusty” series reveals that, flowers bloom and fade, clouds roll and stretch, they are all the phenomenon of the nature, containing me that floating in the sky like a dust, which is my lyrical expression of the state of the North drift.
