Dong Lijia：Ancient Chinese painting gives me spiritual fulfillment. Every tree and bush and every stone in nature make me feel incomparably peaceful and relaxing. Ancient painting has an unperturbed feeling that’s difficult to express, but these posters or scene graphs strongly excite my interest. I feel they are absurd but very interesting. So what I want to do now is to bring that peaceful and tranquil feature to those interesting and absurd things, just like you add a cup of cola or new stimulation to some quiet things, making people want to laugh but cannot laugh. Maybe that is the most appropriate expression of the things that I am always seeking for.
