Hou Weiguo：Engraving art is a media having a lot of secrets. I found a kind of materials which I name them as Off cut of Printmaking. When I want to create a successful print I must test the surface of materials and print a lot of versions to find the best state of the artwork. Some waste materials (Off cut of Printmaking) are thrown away. I try to use these waste materials to create a new artwork. The method I use is to hollow them out, then collage them and combine them together in the end. It is obviously not a real print but the artwork indeed has a feature of engraving. The behavior of observing horses is consistent with the way of judging people. I hope viewers have introspection by appreciating the series of artworks.
